Denver Service projects for the week of May 10th
SACK LUNCHES FOR THE HOMELESS:
Wednesday May 19th we will meet and assemble lunches for the homeless
and hand them out on Thursday morning May 20th to people in a parking
lot next to Church in the City. It is such a joy to establish
relationships with people and consistently provide for their needs. Join
us in this effort the third Wednesday/Thursday of each month.
RUN
FOR THE DOOR AND TRAIL CLEAN-UP: Saturday May 22nd we will meet as a
church in Cheeseman Park and participate in a run/walk event for Open
Doors Ministry who seek to make disciples and meet needs in urban
Denver. Sign up at www.runforthedoor.org
and join the Restoration Team. Following the run/walk we will be
cleaning up a 2 1/2 mile trail along confluence park and end with a
picnic. This is a very family friendly event and one centered on
building us up as a community, supporting partnering ministries, and
doing something positive for the city. Watch the transformation happen
in your life and the communities as you help improve the lives of
